Security Deposits Capped at 5 weeks’ rent for rent up to £50,000 a year and 6 weeks’ for rent over £50,000 a year. For fixed term renewals executed from 1st June 2019
Default Fees only rent arrears and lost keys. Costs will be reasonable and supported by evidence. Interest on rent arrears – a maximum of 3% above the Bank of England base rate can be levied and only once the rent is over 14 days late.
Change of Sharer fee capped at £50
Surrender of Tenancy fee (but cannot exceed the loss suffered by the landlord).
