An estate agency is only as good as the people it employs, and we have gone to great lengths to find the very best estate agents in the West Sussex region.

They are all experienced Crawley, Horsham or East Grinstead agents. But they are also locals, with a passion for property who truly believe in the ethos our estate agency was founded on, that of vision, innovation, service and local knowledge.

Meet the team, see more about each one of them below.

Sheree Taylor
Director, Crawley

I have been with Taylor Robinson for the entire 19 years of my career in estate agency. I started as a trainee sales consultant, bright-eyed and keen as mustard, and rose to become director in charge of the Crawley branch sales team. Today I do my best to lead by example, sharing lessons with my team about customer care, quality of service and selling that I’ve learned and put to good use over the last two decades.

I lived in Crawley for many years, my children grew up here, and I love the area dearly. And, because of my connection to the community, I feel an added responsibility to do my best for vendors and buyers, solicitors and lenders/brokers, because they may well have been my neighbours.

Outside work my family is most important to me. With four sons I’m kept pretty busy, either on the football, rugby or cricket pitches.

The beach is my favourite place to relax listening to music with a glass of champagne. I really enjoy travelling but Portugal has to be my favourite and where I hope to retire.

Kelly Stacey
Branch Administrator, Crawley

As branch administrator I keep the office running like a well-oiled machine. I’m in charge of lettings accounts and renewals, sales compliance, documentation management, HR activities, equipment maintenance and more. And, as I’ve been working in the Crawley office for nine years, and have lived in the area for a decade and a half, I’m often the first person the team turns to when things need to be done.

I’m a detail person – I like things to be right and ‘just so’ – and on an average day you’ll find me multitasking my way through from dawn to dusk, working with the team at Taylor Robinson to provide the best customer service.

Outside of work it’s my family that’s the most important thing to me. My three boys keep me busy, what with basketball, swimming and so much more, and the only other girl in the family, Molly, our energetic Jack Russell, ensures that I get very little time to sit and rest.

Senior Branch Manager, Crawley

As senior branch manager I am responsible for a team of tenacious, but friendly sales, lettings, and property management consultants. Together we work with hundreds of landlords to ensure that their properties are filled with the nicest of tenants and looked after for everyone’s complete peace of mind.

I’ve been with Taylor Robinson for the last four years, but I’ve been an agent for twelve because I enjoy what I do – talking to all sorts of people, working with them to find solutions to their property needs, helping them move, and the competitive streak in me enjoys it when we beat the competition to an instruction or to finding a tenant for our landlords.

I pride myself on my local knowledge and property expertise, but away from the office I love the countryside, walking with the family and Teddy our Cavapoo, regular 5–10km runs each week and the odd half-marathon to keep the blood pumping.

Celia Rathborn
Property Manager, Crawley

I’m a local girl with a keen interest in everything to do with property, so a career in estate agency was on the cards for me from the very beginning. Today, eight years on, it’s my job to look after our landlords’ properties, to ensure that they are kept compliant, maintained, and their tenants kept happy.

I’ve lived in Crawley for over 20 years and I know the area like the back of my hand. My daughters go to school locally, and we’ve always been active in the local community, as members of the local gym and various sports and dance clubs over the years. I love a challenge – some would say I was in the perfect job for that – and I’m a problem solver, which means that no matter the issue I’ll have the solution, I’ll create the solution, or I’ll know someone who can help with the solution.

Outside of work and the shows and competitions my daughters are always involved in, I love nothing more than an evening with friends with an accompanying glass (or two) of Prosecco.

Nicola Stevens
Senior Property & Vendor Care Executive, Crawley

Hi, I’m Nicola and I’m here to support homeowners and investors all the way from instruction to the completion of the sale of your property. I’ll be your ever-available contact here at Taylor Robinson throughout your time with us, so if you have any questions – just ask.

I’ve always wanted to be an estate agent. When I was 16 I used to work as a sales negotiator at weekends, and I’ve never looked back. I know how important reputation is in this business, so I do my best to carry forward the Taylor Robinson ethos of putting the customer first always. I’ve lived in Crawley for years and because it’s my home, I care that much more about the people I help to move here.

Work life is hectic, the hours are long and the days busy, and as a mother of three there’s little time off when I’m home either. So, on the rare occasion when all else is quiet, it’s the time spent with friends and a glass of G&T, or a nice cup of tea in front of the TV that I enjoy.

Sales Negotiator, Crawley

Hi, I’m John and I’m one of the sales negotiators here at the Crawley branch of Taylor Robinson. I’m here to help you buy or sell your home. I’m also here to support you throughout the whole process, to keep you updated, arrange your viewings, give you feedback, negotiate offers and work with all parties to see your sale through.

I enjoy the variety of what I do, the sociability of what we do, and the fact that no two days are the same. I live locally so I know the area and its properties well and as I’m tenacious by nature I’ve made it my business to know my business, which will help me to help you into your next home.

The thing I like doing most in the world though is travelling – Australia, America, Europe and beyond – getting to meet different people, experiencing different cultures, expanding my horizons and appreciating life outside my home bubble.

Branch Manager, Horsham

Seventeen years ago I started at Taylor Robinson as a sales negotiator, and today I’m proud to be manager of our Horsham branch, responsible for a small and friendly team of consultants, all here to help you move.

Our office carries out the full range of sales, lettings and management services, and we hold to the same ethos as the rest of the company, treating people as individuals and caring about their needs, wants and wishes. And personally, that’s one of the things that I love most about my work – the variety, the personalities and people you meet and help along the way. That and the fact that a major part of my role as branch manager is to build and maintain relationships with all those who may today or one day be a vendor, a buyer, a landlord or a tenant.

Away from the office I play tennis (badly these days), and enjoy walking my eight-year-old Border Collie, Toke, who keeps me fit with his long walks and boundless energy.

Sales Executive, Horsham

Twenty-five years as an estate agent in London and across West Sussex. That’s a quarter of a century in the most enjoyable job in the world for me – the variety, the people, the love of property, and I get to help buyers to find the home of their dreams.

As a sales executive my job is to find a variety of properties to choose from that all fit your specific criteria, to offer you all the local information you’ll need and to provide you with the facts so you can make an informed decision when buying. I’m also here, along with my branch manager, to support you from offer to completion to ensure a smooth and seamless service to get you into your next home.

The calm and patient personality that I bring to the job is also reflected in my social interests – playing and watching cricket at my local club, listening to jazz, taking long country walks with my wife and our King Charles Spaniel. I’m truly a country boy at heart.

Sales Negotiator, Crawley

As a sales negotiator in the Crawley branch of Taylor Robinson, you’ll find me deep in conversation on the phone, chatting to buyers and vendors or rushing around on viewings. An average day would find me doing all three at once! Our Crawley office has a buzz, a pace to it that means I’m always on my toes, learning, helping, selling.

I’m a local myself, and I enjoy every opportunity to be out there contributing to the community and helping people to find their next home is a big part of that. I like to think I’m friendly and go the extra mile for everyone, which at work means truly caring about helping every buyer and vendor I work with and doing my professional best to seal and manage deals for them.

I also do my utmost to ensure that I have a good work/life balance, so time spent with my young family and days out to Brighton are every bit as important to me.

Valuations Manager, Horsham

For 32 years I have been involved in this ever-changing rollercoaster of a profession. I have seen interest rates rise to 14% and fall to 0.25%, I’ve seen legislation tighten, and processes follow, and throughout it all my passion for this profession has never wavered.

I lived in the Horsham area for many years, and this combined with three decades of estate agency experience means that I have a keen sense for what any property is worth, how best to help you to present and market it, and I know that the sales team here at Taylor Robinson are among the best in the region.

I love the Downs, and weekends will find me on long walks in the great outdoors or playing football with my sons.

Managing Director

When I launched Taylor Robinson I wanted to introduce a new kind of estate agency, to take a more innovative approach to an old and musty profession, one that would move with the times, compete with the best, and focus on saving our sellers’ and landlords’ money with a totally new, far fairer fee structure.

I’m a local through and through. I was born in Crawley Hospital, have lived around here for most of my life, represented the borough as a local councillor, and what with my regular involvement in the park runs on the weekends and the countless societies and clubs I’ve been a member of over the years, I feel very involved with and responsible to my local community.

My four children and wife keep me pretty busy on my days off, but when we find time for it I love our holidays to Portugal and I’m learning to tolerate the training I’m doing for the Brighton Marathon this year – wish me luck!
